The last time I posted I noted me going back to using Fedora as my main daily operating system. So far I have liked it. To be honest it is also because I don’t really do much and gaming just hasn’t been a top priority in quite some time.

I’ve been thinking more and more about it and I came to the conclusion that I will keep using Fedora for however long I can but really I’ll keep using regardless. I know there may be a few things that I’ll have to search for but I know I’ll pick it up and learn more from it. The good part being that I’ve been using the command line a little more because of that.

It’s not just the command line but it’s also that I was able to change things to my liking. I do know you can do the same on other operating systems as well but I like things a little more on the Linux side for some reason. I’ve been trying other Linux distributions as well since I really want to nail down what I would like my main system to use. So far I have tried Arch, Garuda, and tried to see if I would like Fedora i3. The reason I tried was to see how I would like using some form of window tiling system. I love the idea, I do, but I do feel like I’m not ready for that or won’t be for some time.

The biggest reason I would love to use one is to reduce the mouse usage on my right hand. Don’t get me wrong, I do like using mouse and keyboard but there are times when I really just want to use keyboard and I think that’s also part of the reason I really like using Vim as an editor. The neat part being there are some available options that I can look into using and I just know it will take some time for me to get both familiar with one that I really like using.

The other thing this will also help with is understanding C a little more. I began taking a C programming course and hope to gain a lot more from it too. I am confident that I can finish reading the book as well since this is one thing I really want to excel at.

For now I’ll keep trying to post here as much as I can about progress on Linux things and maybe try to get more code up. I do need find the time to look over how Gutenberg is really done as well as I haven’t really touched any of that since it first came out.

I just need to find a way to add more hours in the day to do all the things I really want.
